Job Description

We are hiring General Manager Merchandiser for a leading Woven Garments Manufacturing Company

Job Description:

Responsible for leading the merchandising team developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth improve profitability and enhance customer satisfaction.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with company goals.

2. Product Development: Collaborate with design production and quality teams.

3. Supply Chain Management: Build and maintain supplier relationships.

4. Sales and Customer Service: Work closely with sales teams.

5. Team Management: Lead and mentor merchandising team members.

6. Operations: Manage budget forecasting inventory and process improvements.

*Requirements:*

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Textile Management Fashion Merchandising or related field.

2. Experience: 20 to 25 years in garment manufacturing merchandising.

3. Skills: Product knowledge market trends supply chain expertise communication negotiation leadership.

*Performance Metrics:*

1. Sales growth

2. Gross margin improvement

3. Customer satisfaction

4. Product quality

5. Team performance

*Work Environment:*

1. Office and factory settings

2. Frequent travel to suppliers customers and industry events

3. Collaborative team environment

Work Location : Royapettah Chennai.

Immediate joiners are preferred.
