Job Description

Job Title:Finance Manager
Location: Nairobi
Department: Finance
Reports To: CEO

Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and detailoriented Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our HR consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support the company in achieving its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop monitor and update the company s annual budgets and forecasts.
Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Prepare regular financial reports including P&L statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.

2. Accounting and Compliance
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable payroll and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws corporate policies and financial regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

3. Cost Management
Monitor expenses and implement costsaving strategies to improve profitability.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources and financial support for HR projects and initiatives.

4. Strategic Financial Leadership
Collaborate with leadership to drive financial strategy and operational improvements.
Assess financial risks and opportunities proposing measures to mitigate risks.
Support the company s growth strategies including mergers acquisitions or new market entries.

5. Team Leadership and Collaboration
Manage and mentor finance team members to ensure optimal performance.
Work crossfunctionally with HR and other departments to align financial goals with business objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (Master s or CPA preferred).
5 years of experience in financial management preferably within the professional services or consultancy industry.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations tax compliance and accounting principles.
Proficient in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
