Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Urbandale IA (Des Moines Area) Remote With Occasional Visit
Duration: 24 Months Contract (Long Term)

Need Candidates On W2 Only
Notes: Person will be able to sit remote primarily but will need to be in a driveable distance as there will be period meetings onsite and they wont be willing to fly the person in.
Job Description:
As a User Experience (UX) Design Lead for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (Deere Location) you will support projects of moderate and high complexity through the development of User Interaction task flows wireframes prototypes through to final production for new and existing products.
In addition you will:
- Make strategic design and userexperience decisions related to features and develop usercentered system requirements
- Plan coordinate and perform UX interaction design and validation activities for a variety of projects of highly automated systems
- Collaborate with UX designers on solution concepts derived from usercentered system requirements
- Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure features are implemented according to specification
- Mentor and coach lessexperienced UX Designers
Note: A portfolio demonstrating ability to prototype and design elegant UX solutions (website URL or attachment) is required upon application.
What Skills You Need:
- Four or more years of experience planning executing and analyzing UX design projects
- Four or more years of visual interface design as applied to web and mobile
- Four or more years of experience applying UserCentered Design principles to complex interface problems
- Four or more years of experience working with crossfunctional teams such as: engineering software development marketing and business leaders
- Three or more years of experience of communicating research methodology design concepts data analysis and test results to a broad range of stakeholders
- Three or more years of experience with technology and product development processes
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Two or more years of visual interface design as applied to invehicle displays
- Demonstrate ability to champion end user experience and to influence digital product designs across product areas
- Demonstrate experience in product discovery design research and concept validation to inform experience definition and design concepts
- A strong portfolio of UI visual design task flows and designing to solve user problems
- Experience using UX metrics and a usercentered design process to provide insights to product engineering groups
- Experience applying design principles in terms of user flows accessibility visual hierarchy and brand influence
- Demonstrated ability to utilize prototyping user flows storyboards and/or existing research to provide insights to design ahead of highfidelity design delivery
- Experience designing for agriculture invehicle interfaces
Education (or equivalent work experience):
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following: Bachelors degree in a Human Factors Graphic Design Interaction / Visual Design or related field discipline or equivalent experience
