Position: Service Manager
Location: Miami Florida United States
Job responsibilities:
- The service manager will operate the service department at maximum production controlling costs building a loyal clientele maintaining good employee relationships setting and obtaining sales objectives and maintaining service records
- Ensure customers receive prompt courteous and effective service
- Serve as a liaison between technicians the parts dept. and customers
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
- Maintain accurate records; execute warranty parts retention following all OEM requirements
- Take ownership of customers experience
- Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
- Lead improvement efforts that support annual goals for service and cost control
- Assure a clean and safe working environment
Must Have Job Requirements:
- 3 years as a Thermo King or Carrier Service Manager
- Strong diesel repair and reefer background (8 years)
- A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and followup
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment and multitask effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills (Karmak experience preferred)
