Position Overview:

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Practice Manager to support our accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills the ability to multitask and a commitment to providing highquality office support.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary starting from $80000 Super.
  • Working Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at our Ballarat office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations including supplies equipment and vendor relationships ensuring a productive and professional work environment.
  • Assist staff with administrative tasks scheduling and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure the office complies with relevant workplace policies including health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee office systems software and IT requirements in collaboration with external providers.
  • Processing accounts payable/receivable.
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) & Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
  • Preparation of Payroll.
  • Preparation of month end financial reports.
  • Maintaining supplier records & invoices.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus but not essential.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager preferably within an accounting or finance environment.
