A Material Handler handles moves and stores various raw materials. Manages dayto day inventory processes the receiving all raw materials into NetSuite.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizing a well maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
Identifying and locating products during delivery process
Unloading raw materials from delivery trucks
Responsible for transporting raw material with handling equipment
Organizing pallets
Responsible for entering inventory data into ERP systems
Scope
No supervisory or managerial responsibility
Normal responsibilities associated with monitoring and reporting everyday expenses.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School diploma or GED
Experience
Two years of experience in manufacturing facility.
Experience in food grade manufacturing facility.
At least two years of experience working in ERP system such as NetSuite.
Certification in Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts pallet jacks etc. preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Capabilities
Working knowledge of raw materials handling pulling large production orders.
General knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) requirements as well as safety and risk standards within a manufacturing environment.
General knowledge of cGMP systems for liquid and powder to secure proper design monitoring and control of manufacturing processes.
General knowledge of data entry into NetSuite or similar software.

DAILY ACTIVITIES
Receiving
Receive all materials based on purchase orders verify that the physical quantities lot numbers and other data match the information of the Packing List and COAs and that they are not damaged.
Performance of the Item Receipt in WMS NetSuite and validate the data entered.
Create and print the identification labels designed by 10XLabs for each package with all the required information and attach a label to each package.
Stage all incoming ingredients packaging and labels and add the location to the WMS NetSuite once they have passed quality test and they have been released by QC.
Create pick list spreadsheet
Staging / Pulling
The ability to differentiate Halal Organic Allergen and Gluten Free materials and know the material handling requirements of all.
Maintain the separation and segregation of the Halal Organic Allergen and Gluten Free materials.
Cycle counts inventory adjustments and practicing FIFO.
Shipping
All pallets of finished products must be wrapped measured and weighed and kept ready for shipment once approved.
Keep the inventory updated as well as the status of each material regarding its expiration date using the FIFO / FEFO inventory methodology.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Generally the work environment is that of a manufacturing plant specifically one that manufactures food products.
May be required to work weekends nights or holidays as a regular part of the job.
The incumbent is:
Continuously required to stand.

Continuously required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
Occasionally required to climb balance bend stoop kneel or crawl.
Continuously required to use hands and arms in handling installing positioning or moving items.
Continually required to talk or hear.
Occasionally required to taste or smell.
Continuously work near moving mechanical parts.
Occasionally work around fumes airborne particles or chemicals.
While performing the duties of this job the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must
Be able lift and /or move more than 20 pounds repeatedly all day.
Occasionally lift and /or move more than 55 pounds with assistance.
MATERIAL HANDLER MANUFACTURING
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel is not required.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
PPE may be required in certain areas as designated by OSHA
Due to safety hazards certain items as defined by OSHA may be prohibited in certain areas
