Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Manager
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Must be a skilled tradesman or engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
General Summary:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Manager oversees the skilled trades team ensuring the troubleshooting maintenance and repair of machinery across all GilMar plants. This role is responsible for maintaining production efficiency and enforcing company policies.
Principal Duties:
- Supervise hourly maintenance staff.
- Troubleshoot repair and maintain production machinery and equipment.
- Enforce company personnel policies.
- Log prioritize and manage work orders for timely repairs.
- Perform CAD design for projects as needed.
- Source and purchase machine components and supplies.
- Assemble and install production machinery and equipment.
- Build and install electrical panels and fluid power circuits.
- Collaborate with vendors for machine controls software and spare parts.
- Train and mentor maintenance apprentices.
Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Expertise in robotic programming (Fanuc).
- Proficiency in PLC programming (AllenBradley Siemens).
- Mitsubishi programming for HMI & CPU.
- Experience with Cognex and Keyence IV software programming.
- Familiarity with cutting and welding laser applications.
- Strong skills in reading and applying electrical schematics and machine blueprints.
- Indepth knowledge of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Handson experience with fixedspindle 3axis machining of aluminum and steel.
