Job Description
Process/Manufacturing Engineer
Veolia is currently searching for an engineer to support the production of membranes at our Minnetonka MN plant. The production of water purification membranes is a growing business which addresses the everincreasing need for clean water. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong chemical or mechanical engineer to support our manufacturing facility. Come be a part of this exciting and growing technology!
Success Looks Like:
Provide engineering support for the operation of a membrane production line including day to day troubleshooting performance tracking process documentation updates etc.
Collaborate and effectively interface with manufacturing technology quality maintenance sales marketing and other internal and external support teams to meet EHS production quality cost savings and new product development goals within schedule and budget
Establish track and monitor key production metrics (Availability Cost of Quality EHS)
Drive process improvements by identifying developing and leading improvements and projects to meet key production metrics
Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues mechanical chemical electrical controls
Develop write and review new process documentation
Potential for on call or extended hours support
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience manufacturing environment preferred
Desired Qualifications
Experience leading capital projects
Ability to analyze problems identify root causes and provide efficient solutions (Root Cause Analysis)
Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal team and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Salary Range: $85000 $98000
