Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales / After Sales Strategy and Leadership:
• Develop Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for
the gearbox product line aligning with the company’s growth objectives and market
opportunities.
• Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation by expanding market share identifying new
business opportunities and managing key customer relationships.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee accurate sales forecasting reporting and
performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Sales Team Leadership: Lead mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve individual
and team goals. Provide guidance on complex sales opportunities and assist in closing
major deals.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting
relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders. Ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction and retention.
• Customer Satisfaction: Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction ensuring
prompt and efficient resolution of any issues related to product performance service or
warranty claims.
• Service Offering Development: Continuously improve the range of aftersales services
(e.g. repairs technical support product upgrades) to meet the evolving needs of
customers.
• Warranty and Repairs Management: Manage warranty claims repairs and part
replacements in a timely and costeffective manner. Ensure all repairs are completed
according to company quality standards and within agreed timelines
• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in diverse
industries (e.g. automotive industrial renewable energy construction) and expand into
new geographic regions.
2. Marketing Strategy and Execution:
• Brand Positioning and Strategy: Define and implement the company’s marketing
strategy to position our gear and gearbox products as industry leaders. Strengthen brand
recognition and perception in the market.
• Product Marketing: Lead the development of compelling value propositions for our gear
and gearbox products. Oversee the creation of product collateral promotional materials
and case studies.
• Trade Shows and Conferences: Oversee participation in industry events trade shows
and conferences to increase visibility promote new products and engage with
customers and prospects.
• Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed of market trends competitor activities
and customer feedback to continuously adapt the marketing strategy and ensure our
products remain competitive.
3. CrossFunctional Collaboration:
• R&D: Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide
customer feedback and ensure the product portfolio aligns with market needs.
• Operations: Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth product delivery inventory
management and pricing strategies are aligned with customer expectations.
• Finance and Pricing: Collaborate with the finance department to develop competitive
pricing strategies revenue forecasts and cost structures to maximize profitability.
• Closely work with R&D and Operations for resolving customer concerns within targeted
timelines
4. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
• KPI Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the sales and
marketing teams ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Quarterly and Annual Reports: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales
and marketing performance highlighting achievements challenges and areas for
improvement.
• Budget Management: Oversee the marketing and sales budgets ensuring optimal
allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
• Customer Response: provide right quotes for the customers providing technical
guidance to customers for right selection of products for their specific applications on a
timely basis
Key Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. MBA or similar advanced
degree is a plus.
• Experience:
o At least 10 15 years of experience in sales and marketing of servo gearboxes
gears or related products.
o Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of managing and
motivating highperformance sales and marketing teams.
o Experience in B2B sales managing complex highvalue deals with OEMs
industrial manufacturers or largescale enterprises.
o Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that
drive revenue and market penetration.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of gearbox products applications and the
industries that rely on these solutions (e.g. automotive industrial renewable energy
etc.).
• Skills:
o Strong analytical communication and presentation skills.
o Proven ability to develop and execute multichannel marketing campaigns
o Experience in ERP systems marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.
o Ability to adapt and respond to changes in the competitive landscape and market
trends.
