Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales opportunities by identifying potential customers and understanding their specific security needs.
- Provide detailed technical explanations and demonstrations of product features to clients and stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering and product management teams to ensure that sales proposals accurately reflect client needs and technical capabilities.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements to ensure that products and services meet the clients expectations.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Technology or a related field with a strong technical understanding of life safety and security systems.
- Minimum of 23 years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to relay technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Drive to reach sales targets with a compensation structure that includes a base salary plus commission on sales.
