Job Description

1. **Leadership and Management**: The HoD is responsible for providing effective leadership and management within the science department. This includes setting departmental goals developing strategies to achieve them and overseeing the daytoday operations of the department.

2. **Curriculum Development**: The HoD often plays a key role in developing and revising the science curriculum. This involves ensuring that the curriculum meets academic standards reflects current research and advancements in the field and is aligned with the overall educational goals of the institution.

3. **Faculty Recruitment and Development**: The HoD is typically involved in the recruitment hiring and retention of faculty members within the science department. They may also be responsible for conducting faculty evaluations providing mentorship and professional development opportunities and fostering a positive work environment.

4. **Student Advising and Support**: The HoD may be involved in advising students particularly at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This could include helping students select courses navigate academic requirements and explore career options within the field of science.

5. **Budget Management**: The HoD is often responsible for managing the departmental budget which may include allocating funds for equipment supplies research projects and other expenses. They must ensure that financial resources are used effectively and in accordance with institutional policies.

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher (1 - 3) years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
