Designation: HOD English
Essential Qualification
- Secondary and Senior secondary from CBSE or ICSE with min 75% marks
- BA (H) from Tier 1 City/ College
- MA Eng from Tier 1 City/ College
- B.Ed.
- Only fulltime degree courses
- Should be well versed with MSOffice
Experience Minimum 10 years as PGT English in a school of repute preferably in DelhiNCR
Job description (includes but not restricted to)
- Taking classes as per the allotment
- Overall supervision of the department
- Ensuring effective delivery of curriculum as per the academic calendar
- Class observation following a particular schedule (at least 2 per teacher per term).
- Copy checking of English department s teachers once a month.
- Question paper checking of the English department.
- Incharge of the annual interschool literature festival
- Incharge of the school magazine
- A brief report of own work to be submitted to the Principal s office every month.
- Undertake any duty that the management deems necessary for the effective operation of the school
