A US based Security Solutions Company is currently hiring for a Technical/Business Proposal Writer to work remotely in Nigeria
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a preliminary assessment of Request for Proposals using predefined parameters resulting in the sound decision on preceding with response to the proposal
- Conduct an indepth review of Request for Proposals to understand client service needs and desired solutions.
- Serve in a key role in contributing reviewing and editing drafts of proposals prior to final submission
- Gather relevant supporting information from both internal and external sources for proposal content creation
- Identify gaps and/or conflicts within Requests for Proposals and communicate with prospective
- client for clarification.
- Collaborate efforts with crossfunctional teams including operations human resources training and programs management for planning organization production and revisions to technical volumes to produce highquality content for proposal response.
- Coordinate support and lead the comprehensive preparation of winning proposals.
- Serve in a key role in technical writing formatting and packaging of the final proposal according to the Instructions for Offerors
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism Marketing or similar businessrelated field
- At least 2 3 years of experience in successful business and proposal development including multiyear multimillion/complex solicitations for major corporations.
- Must be capable of reviewing and assimilating large volumes of information within a brief period.
- Proven skills in writing and editing proposal content in a professional and credible manner with evidence of successful wins.
- Experienced in leading capture planning storyboarding sessions participating in key review meetings / final document review content signoff and document production.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills.
- Must possess strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must possess superior verbal and written command of the English language.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret the scope of work of a standard Request for Proposal
- Ability to communicate industry concepts business practices and proposed solutions to client needs in a relatable manner.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet nonnegotiable deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in servicerelated industry strongly preferred.
Proposed Work Schedule:
- Days: Monday Friday (Virtual / Remote Position)
- Schedule: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Nigerian Time Zone) 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (U.S. Based Eastern Standard Time) with a 1hour unpaid lunch break
- Hours: 40 hours per week minimum

Candidate should possess a 4-year, business-related degree from an accredited university/College or equivalent experience, preferably in a Business Management / Marketing related field Proficient in using MS Office 365 including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Experience and intermediate level of proficiency in commonly used Sales/Marketing related software Minimum o 2 -3+ years of experience working in Client Prospecting, Customer Service, Business Development, and/or Sales & Marketing related functions. Possess soft skills including attention to detail, work-flow organization, ability to use initiative, and ability to follow instructions Possess strong verbal & written communication skills in the English Language. Have demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, analyzing information, mass data entry, activity-based reporting, customer interactions, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
