Job Description

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Department: Engineering

Position Summary:

The Industrial Engineer will collaborate closely with our Project Management team to optimize client systems and improve processes both onsite and within our internal operations. This role requires regular travel to client sites to assess analyze and enhance processes and workflows directly within the clients environment. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for driving efficiencies implementing costeffective solutions and ensuring our clients achieve optimal performance and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization: Work with the Project Management team to assess and optimize client production processes and workflows. Develop systems that minimize waste increase productivity and align with client objectives.

ClientSite Analysis: Travel to client sites to conduct thorough assessments of their current processes identifying areas for improvement and providing tailored solutions.

Efficiency Improvements: Evaluate operational inefficiencies develop targeted strategies to improve these areas and work with clients to implement solutions effectively.

Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure that all process improvements align with both company and client quality standards and safety regulations.

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from client sites on production metrics resource allocation equipment usage and labor efficiency. Use this data to create actionable insights and recommend specific improvements.

Cost Analysis: Conduct costbenefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of proposed changes ensuring costeffectiveness without compromising quality or safety.

Technical and Process Training: Support clients by providing training on new or improved processes ensuring their teams are equipped with the knowledge to implement and sustain improvements.

Technology Implementation: Collaborate with clients and internal IT teams to integrate new technologies automation tools and software that enhance client processes.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of clientsite activities recommendations and implemented changes for internal and clientfacing reports.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

Experience: 35 years of experience in industrial engineering with a background in clientfacing roles preferred.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in CAD software and process mapping tools.

Experience in data analysis with a focus on statistical and process improvement methods.

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Proficiency in ERP systems and relevant software (e.g. MS Excel Tableau).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problemsolving abilities and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and client teams.

Adaptability and flexibility in managing multiple projects across different client sites.

Detailoriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing clientspecific challenges.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel regularly to client sites with occasional overnight stays.
