We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Finland. As a Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of our advanced fire and gas detection systems and other automation/navigation systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with stateoftheart safety technologies and provide essential services to our clients.
What youll do
- Install maintain and troubleshoot advanced fire detection gas detection and other automation and navigational products.
- Configure and commission new and existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate organizes and monitors service attendances and support cases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with modifications diagnosing errors and performing mandatory inspections on existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards during onsite service tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external customers through clear and concise communication.
- Assist in training coworkers and external customers to enhance overall knowledge within the team.
- Attend & complete prescribed training workshops & courses.
- Collect report and store all required documentation for service cases in Companys CRM and ERP systems.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree in Electronics or Automation or equivalent skills obtained through previous experience.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Familiar with computers and industrial computer networks
- Previous experience working on ships is desirable.
- Good Communication skills in English both written and verbal. Finnish Language skills preferred.
- Finnish Electrical qualification 2 S2: up to 1000 V electrical works or ability to meet criteria to apply qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a customeroriented environment is preferred.
- Ability to travel certain projects may mean lengthy periods away from home.
- Valid Drivers License
