Job Description
Summary: We are looking for a Subcontracts Lead with deep expertise in managing all stages of the subcontract lifecycle from sourcing strategy to subcontractor performance and contract closeout. This onsite role in Fort Wayne Indiana requires 7 years of experience with at least 5 years in the aerospace and defense industry. Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR advanced subcontract management and the ability to work crossfunctionally with technical and program teams are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontract lifecycle activities including acquisition strategy sourcing solicitation negotiation award cost and schedule oversight.
- Develop and manage subcontract requirements statements of work (SOWs) and perform cost schedule and risk management for subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and lead government proposals subcontract negotiations and contract execution.
- Support new business development efforts including nondisclosure and teaming agreements and assist with technical and financial due diligence on potential suppliers.
- Coordinate with engineering finance and quality teams to maintain subcontract alignment with program goals and execute risk management strategies.

Required:

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of experience. (In lieu of a degree 13 years of related experience)

Minimum 5 years in aerospace/defense industry.

Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR contract types (FFP T&M CPFF) and subcontractor management.

Proficiency in subcontracting processes and documentation cost/benefit analysis and SOW development.

Strong communication negotiation and problemsolving skills.

DoD Clearance.

Lean Six Sigma experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
