Job Description
Our client is a leading service & retailbased company in Nigeria with a commitment to providing the best electronic products installation and aftersales services. Due to expansion they need a SERVICE ENGINEER (HVAC)
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine existing facilities utilities and site for renovation reuse or functional modifications.
- Support development of budget estimates justification for requests and verify the already identified work/conditions submitted by facility managers
- Ensure that schedules inspections materials methods and equipment used in HVAC preventative maintenance planning design construction of ventilation projects are appropriate
- Support the initiation of projects or provide technical assistance in identifying and/or verifying facility conditions repair estimates and timetables
- Supervising the service team to get timely updates and ensure proper documentation
- Coordination with OEM for ensuring the warranty claim process.
- Pitch in for the AMC and spare part sales for prospective companies.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Conduct site inspections to assess system conditions and requirements
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Requirement
- Male preferably
- Minimum 5 years related experience in HVAC Field (VRV Mandatory Applied is added advantage)
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels effectively and from various backgrounds
- Receptive to Travel
- Resource Management & Project Management experience
Candidate demonstrated strong technical skills particularly in HVAC systems refrigeration units and electrical control panels. Their handson experience with diagnostic tools like multi meters refrigerant gasses and infrared thermometers aligns well with the requirements of the role. They hold certifications in specific certification e.g. HVACR Technician Electrical Systems Maintenance which are essential for successful performance.
Minimum 5 years related experience in AV Service (Board and Cheap set repairing Mandatory, Applied is added advantage) Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering
