Job Description
Our client is a Nigerian. Financial services provider that operates as a licensed commercial bank. Due to expansion our client is in need of TEAM LEADINFORMATION AND SECURITY
LOCATION:LAGOS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for safeguarding the organization s information assets by effectively monitoring and maintaining the security of the organizations applications databases computers network infrastructure and websites.
- Assist with the overall business technology planning providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.
- Periodic training and sensitization for all stakeholders within the organization.
- Ensure that the Units resources and budget are managed effectively in accordance with institutional policy and procedures and provide best value for money.
- Develop a written security risk management plan with checklists for deliverables structure and communication between key internal and external stakeholders and enhance the existing framework.
- Provide leadership to the enterprises information security organization.
- Analyzing IT security threats in realtime and mitigating these threats.
- Ensure that the culture policies structures and reporting systems are in place to allow the Information Security team to achieve the highest standards of quality legal and regulatory compliance and corporate governance in all areas.
- Presenting regular feedback reports on IT network security to the management and board of directors.
- Investigating security incidents.
REQUIREMENTS
. A bachelors degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in information security and banking industry.
Certification such as CISA CISM or CISSP
Expert knowledge of information/cyber security
Proven experience (2+ years) in product management within the financial services sector, with a knowledge of wealth management products. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus.
