Role: Vulnerability Management Analyst
Location: Auburn Hills MI or Frisco TX
Work Authorization: USC GC H4EAD H1B Transfer & GCEAD
Job Type: Remote
Tax Term: W2/1099 (Only)
Job Description:
This role involves expertise in vulnerability scanning data analysis process automation and collaboration across departments utilizing tools such as Qualys PowerBI and ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vulnerability Management Operations
- Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments reporting Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across the organization.
- Manage security vulnerabilities coordinating with system owners for risk management and remediation.
- Develop and improve vulnerability management processes focused on risk assessment and reporting.
2. Reporting and Data Administration
- Create metrics to monitor enterprise risks and remediation trends.
- Support monthly KRI reporting by gathering and analyzing vulnerability data in coordination with application and infrastructure teams.
- Generate KRIbased reports and presentations to communicate vulnerability risk insights to management.
3. Technical Consultation and Collaboration
- Work with technology teams to enhance vulnerability management practices.
- Provide technical guidance to infrastructure teams on remediation strategies.
- Partner with business units application teams and vendors to establish vulnerability management requirements.
- Automate existing processes to expedite remediation.
- Mentor team members on vulnerability remediation.
4. Risk Assessment and Management
- Identify and address gaps in vulnerability management practices.
- Participate in Red Team exercises to proactively identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for timely remediation to reduce risk exposure.
- Develop vulnerability analysis and reporting metrics.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in vulnerability management and risk assessment with proficiency in Qualys PowerBI and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Competence in data analysis reporting and task automation using a programming language
