Job Title: Personal Injury Lawyer
Location: Manhattan NY
Type: FulltimeEmployment
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to advocate for our clients helping them secure justice and compensation for their injuries. The successful candidate will manage case files from intake through resolution with support from a skilled legal team. This role requires a strong understanding of personal injury and tort law alongside excellent litigation negotiation and communication skills. Trial experience is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Review draft and modify legal documents including motions discovery responses demand letters pleadings claims subpoenas and memorandums.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
- Handle all aspects of litigation including client consultations witness interviews and court appearances.
- Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel medical professionals and expert witnesses.
- Negotiate settlements and prepare for trials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law.
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience with an emphasis on cases involving medical malpractice wrongful death or civil litigation
- Indepth knowledge of personal injury and tort law as well as medical terminology and wrongful death claims
- Strong research negotiation drafting and communication skills.
- Trial experience is highly desirable.
