About the Role
The firm is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Personal Injury Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and gain valuable handson experience in personal injury law. The ideal candidate has 34 years of plaintiff personal injury experience thrives in a fastpaced environment and is eager to grow their legal expertise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys to guide clients through the litigation process from case inception to trial.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients colleagues and opposing counsel through strong communication and professional conduct.
- Manage a heavy caseload effectively prioritizing tasks and working independently.
- Conduct legal research and draft court documents pleadings and trial preparation materials.
- Attend and represent clients during court appearances depositions and negotiations.
Requirements
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
- Experience: A minimum of 34 years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); experience with Filevine is a plus.
- Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively prioritize tasks and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Proactive problemsolving skills and a commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
