Role description
A Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying attracting and hiring top technical talent to meet the organization s needs. This role involves strategic planning sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding candidates with a focus on building a strong employer brand and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Role responsibilities
- Write and publish compelling technical job descriptions.
- Source potential candidates from specialized platforms such as Stack Overflow and GitHub.
- Evaluate resumes to parse technical skills and qualifications.
- Conduct prescreening calls to assess candidates capabilities.
- Conduct interviews using diverse methods (e.g. structured interviews technical assessments behavioural questions).
- Collaborate with Operations to forecast departmental goals and hiring requirements.
- Create and distribute personalized recruitment emails showcasing current job opportunities to passive candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Enhance the company s reputation as an attractive employer.
- Stay updated with emerging technological trends and products.
Requirements
Role requirements
- Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter.
- Handson experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone Zoom structured interviews).
- Technical proficiency to comprehend and articulate job requirements.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques such as social media recruiting and Boolean search.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or IT (advantageous)
Proven experience managing AD environments in a large enterprise setting. In-depth understanding of DNS, GPO, and DHCP and how they interact within AD. Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Directory Services technologies.
Education
National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 8 years of Active Directory Experience Relevant technical certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in Domain Services certification is essential. Strong experience in managing Active Directory and Enterprise Directory Services.
