Job Description
Title : Network Engineer
Location: Onsite : Chicago IL
Jobterm : Contract 6 Months C2H
Visa: USC GC H4
Must have finance company exp
A Bachelors degree in a related field such as accounting or finance is preferred.
Position Overview: The Network Engineer II will maintain and implement WAN/LAN systems.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of continuous experience in computer networking is essential.
- Proficiency in managing network platforms firewall security RAS systems and related technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- An active CCNP certification is required.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms (5k 7k) is essential.
- Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst 6500 series switches.
- Experience with enterprise or carrierclass Cisco routers.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- Knowledge and experience with DNS and DHCP.
- Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco firewall software.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Solid knowledge of network monitoring and security practices.
- Experience implementing remote access solutions via VPN and DialUp.
- Background in wireless networking.
