Job Overview:
The Broker Assistant plays a vital role in supporting mortgage brokers throughout the home loan processing journey from lead generation to loan lodgement. This position involves comprehensive research client interaction and administrative tasks to ensure seamless loan transactions and compliance with lender policies
Job Description:
- Managing client home loan processing from lead to Lodgement
- Researching and liaising with a range of lenders Research lender policy
- Analyse and verify client financial information including income documents
- Assist the broker with ordering valuations completing scenarios pricing and servicing calculators
- Loan packaging and maintaining compliance with submissions
- Lender updates and attending to missing information requests post submission
Requirements
- 3 years lending/credit experience in a similar role (with a mortgage brokerage)
- A high level of professionalism at all times
- Excellent work ethic and can do attitude
- Highly organised & proficient at multitasking Strong time management skills efficient and proactive
- Ability to selfmotivate and have a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and strong data entry skills is essential
- Good team work and ability to work in a time pressured environment
- Thorough knowledge of lender policy and loan structuring
- Strong understanding of income calculations AOL and servicing calculators. Strong English literature skills
