Job Description
Summary:
This role focuses on building and owning automation test flows for Omni Spec using Astra Automation. It involves creating and executing automated tests for API and Kafkabased applications collaborating with crossfunctional teams and continuously improving test automation processes. The candidate must have expertise in Java Python and various testing tools.
Position Info:

- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Astra Automation
- Create and manage automated tests for API and Kafkabased applications (unit contract functional and e2e testing)
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and enhance test strategies
- Execute tests analyze results and provide detailed reports on defects
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes
- Maintain and update test documentation tools and version control systems
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Support transitioning and maintaining scripts for business users
Skills/Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in software testing based on the SDLC lifecycle
- 3 years of experience writing automation scripts in Java
- Development experience with Java and Python
- Proficiency in Astra Junit TestNG Selenium and Karate tooling
- Strong understanding of RESTAPI code and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with various types of testing: load regression integration and e2e testing
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
