We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales based out of our Calgary office to lead our Canadian external wholesaling team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in alternative investments and extensive experience in managing sales teams. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of external wholesalers setting clear performance objectives and fostering a highperformance culture.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the alternative investment space aligning with company goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive landscape in alternative investments.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients financial advisors and industry partners.
Sales Training: Provide training and support to wholesalers ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics providing regular reports to senior management on team performance and market opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product development and compliance teams to align strategies and enhance product offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience (industry designations are a bonus).
Minimum 7 years of experience as an External Wholesaler / Manager of a team of External Wholesalers (need a combination of both roles) with experience selling alternatives.
Proven and successful experience managing and leading sales teams.
Strong understanding of alternative investment products and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Located in Calgary Alberta or willing to relocate.

Compensation: $175000$225000 base salary excellent commission structure
