Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Engineering to join our team in Mumbai India. As the Director of Engineering you will lead and inspire our engineering department driving innovation and excellence in all our technical endeavors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organizations engineering capabilities and contribute to groundbreaking projects.
- Develop and implement longterm engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive technological advancements and product development
- Establish and maintain engineering standards processes and best practices
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients partners and stakeholders
- Drive decisionmaking processes for critical engineering and technical matters
- Spearhead initiatives to improve green infrastructure and sustainability initiatives at the hotel
- Represent the engineering department in executivelevel meetings and discussions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Civil)
- 10 years of progressive experience in engineering roles with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions
- Proven track record of successfully managing largescale engineering projects and teams
- Strong technical knowledge and problemsolving skills across various engineering disciplines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strategic thinking and longterm planning abilities
- Demonstrated experience in driving technological advancements and innovation
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
- Indepth understanding of industry standards regulations and safety guidelines
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control processes
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Analytical mindset with datadriven decisionmaking skills
- Adaptability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in the engineering field
