Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provision configure and manage cloud resources using tools like AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Create scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment monitoring and management processes.
- Implement security measures to protect cloud resources and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor cloud performance identify issues and optimize resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with software developers system administrators and IT teams to support application deployment and maintenance.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture processes and best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve cloudrelated issues providing support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in cloud engineering or related roles with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Proficient in cloud services (compute storage networking) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and frameworks (e.g. CIS NIST).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
