It constructs and operates a constellation through the development and operation of small SAR satellites generating and providing data. Using proprietary data analysis capabilities we offer datadriven solutions to various global challenges.
The main business activities include the operation of a satellite constellation through the development manufacturing and launch of small SAR satellites and related systems. This encompasses the sale of acquired data and the development and sale of data analysis solutions.

This Department is responsible for the design development and operation of systems that manage and operate the companys proprietary Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
S satellite series as well as data services that sell observation data obtained from these satellites to customers.
In this unit we are responsible for the development and operation of the system (Data platform) that sells and provides observation data obtained from the S satellite series to customers. The Data platform serves as a hub for our business as it connects customers with satellite data.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for the overall development and operation of the Data platform.
Specifically:
- Communicating with the sales team and customers to clarify requirements
- Designing and developing a Data platform with redundancy and security
- Primarily focusing on backend development but also handling frontend and infrastructure development as necessary
Longterm scope of role changes: within the Data Production Department
Job Appeal:
In recent years there has been an active shift from governmentled space development to privatesector initiatives. However space development as a business is not yet fully established in the private sector. Due to the nature of the Data platform its development requires leading crosscompany communication with teams such as Sales Satellite and Solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in leading development in a new business field while guiding others through uncharted territory.
Minimum Requirements

- Curiosity and willingness to tackle unknown fields or problems without clear answers.
- Experience in defining requirements for a feature of a customerfacing service regardless of whether its ToC or ToB.
- Experience developing using Node.js TypeScript or more than three languages.
- Experience developing on GCP or AWS.
- Conversationallevel English or desire to work in an Englishspeaking environment.
- Experience in operating inhouse services.

Annual Salary:JPY
- Based on experience ability and previous work experience
- Personnel evaluation system every 6 months
Hours: Flextime system
- Core time from 11:00 15:00
- 2 days off a week (weekends) including Japanese public holidays
- 10 days of paid time leave granted first year with an increment of 1 day every following year (ex. 11 days in the second year) up to a maximum in accordance with Japans labor laws.
