Responsibilities
- Estimate and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Review project plans specifications and documents for accurate cost estimates
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to estimate material labor and equipment costs
- Prepare takeoffs scope of work and bid packages for projects
- Communicate with subcontractors suppliers and vendors for quotes
- Analyze bid results and prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and communicate with clients and team members
- Coordinate all project activities including scheduling budgeting and quality control
- Ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 35 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents
- Experience with Specialty Contractors or a SelfPerforming contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing is a plus
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field
