Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Perform the recruitment process for job vacancies
  • Manage the onboarding process for new joiners (Induction)
  • Provide HR support and advice to employees, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage the exit interview process and analyze the results
  • Assist in the learning needs analysis process
  • Keep the HR system updated with accurate data
  • Manage the performance management process (JD – Objectives Setting – Evaluation)
  • Plan and implement employee engagement activities
  • Establishing a talent recruitment strategy to facilitate the hiring of prospective talent.
  • Coordinating recruitment events and networking with potential candidates.
  • Developing and organizing employee training programs.
  • Crafting long-term employee succession plans to ensure personnel are on track with their career progression.
  • Working with the HR manager to create internal promotion policies.
  • Supervising the employee onboarding process.
  • Assessing the company's hiring needs and updating the recruitment strategy accordingly.
  • Working with team leaders to evaluate personnel and create improvement plans as needed.
  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
  • Monitoring employee performance.
  • Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  • Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
  • Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a corporate management or talent acquisition role.
  • Exceptional knowledge of HR best practices and recruitment strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance management software.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with subordinate personnel and management alike.
  • Solid knowledge of HR tools, such as applicant tracking systems.
  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • From 3 to 5 years of HR experience
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • HR certification is preferred
  • Additional training/certification in Payroll Management – may be advantageous.
  • Labor Relations certification – may be advantageous.
  • Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator – may be advantageous.
  • Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Protecting the interests of all employees.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
