Job Description
Your mission
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Android Developer to join our team. Our JustPlay Android app is still in its early stages and were looking for someone who can collaborate closely with our product team to develop new features and enhance the apps performance and usability. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a successful product and contribute to its growth.
First things first
This is the tech stack you will be working with:
- Kotlin
- Dagger2
- Firebase Messaging
- DataBinding
- Retrofit
Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for designing developing and implementing various features for the JustPlay Android app using Kotlin
- You will work closely with our product team to deliberately enhance the performance of our app and improve usability
- You are the gatekeeper of our Android app codebase and will work to troubleshoot any bug and issues that influence our apps quality and performance
- Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of our android application
- Continuously discover new technologies to ensure the best technical solutions are chosen to meet product needs and enhance development efficiency
The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay
- You have at least 5 years of experience in mobile development ideally from working in top finance and/or entertainment and/or dating and/or social apps
- You are fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- You have experience building Android mobile applications that have frequent interactions with REST APIs and/or SDKs and ideally have a proven portfolio of released Android apps
- You are proficient in native Android development (Kotlin)
- You are passionate about technical challenges and enjoy finding solutions together with other likeminded team members
