Job Description
Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carveout project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project SAP systems will be partially rebuilt adapted and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization. The goal is to establish efficient standardized and futureproof processes tailored to the needs of the new organization.
To successfully execute this project we are seeking an experienced SAP BW Developer (Technical Consultant). This is a fulltime role with occasional onsite presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 612 months with the possibility of extension.

Tasks
- Technical implementation of SAP BW projects including SAP BW/4HANA.Develop and optimize data models transformations and extraction processes (ETL).
- Design create and maintain BW queries and reports tailored to business requirements.
- Build and maintain data flows ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g. SAP FI/CO SAP SD SAP MM).
- Support data migration efforts and ensure data consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot debug and perform performance tuning of BW processes and reports.
- Implement customerspecific requirements and business logic within the SAP BW system.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science Business Informatics or a related field.
- 510 years of experience in SAP BW development and technical implementation including SAP BW/4HANA.
- Proven expertise in data modeling transformations and extraction (ETL) processes.
- Strong skills in designing and creating SAP BW queries and reports.
- Experience with SAP BI tools and integration with other SAP modules (e.g. SAP FI/CO SAP SD SAP MM).
- Solid understanding of data migration processes and ensuring data consistency.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization for BW processes.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM SAFe) and an agile mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
- Experience working on international projects and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
