Job Description
We are looking for an experienced addition to our growing teams in Berlin. As a Senior Full Stack Developer you will be primarily responsible for the development implementation and performance of our ecommerce platform (Shopify) including integrated apps and interfaces.
At BARFERS we produce dog and cat food in the Barf (organic speciesappropriate raw food) category in Germany. The more than 280 products produced in Berlin are sold via our online shop and a total of seven of our own stores in Berlin Potsdam and Hamburg. Why did we found BARFERS
To invent barf products of a new quality and variety and to revolutionise the pet market for the health of our fourlegged friends.
To produce products according to new standards and to keep the entire production chain under our own control.

Tasks
- You will extend maintain and improve the ecommerce platform working on both the frontend and backend.
- You will support the automation of business processes through services and partner API integrations.
- You will improve the UI/UX experience.
- You take responsibility for the architecture and implementation of current and future applications.
- Work in an agile environment and embody a we can do it mentality.
Requirements
- 5 years of web software development experience with a strong grasp of the full web development lifecycle design patterns and best practices.
- Proficient in JavaScript PHP (or Python/Go) HTML and CSS.
- Strong experience with a JavaScript framework (Vue.js React etc.).
- Experience in building Shopify apps and theme extensions.
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure and frontend tooling like Webpack/Gulp.
- Skilled in consuming and building APIs (GraphQL REST).
- Cloud experience (AWS GCP) is a plus.
