Job Description
Overhead cab and floor Crane Operator
Qualifications:
- Observes load hook up and determines safety of load.
- Expedites flow operations of a variety of materials.
- Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written verbal or signal instructions.
- understand ordinary measuring and marking tools.
- Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
- Responsible for daily inspections and safely operating the crane
- Operate crane or hoist.
- May be required to manipulate equipment on unlevel working surface.
- May assist in lifting position and securing or materials and work pieces during installation.
- May be responsible for routine maintenance.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
- forklift (not required)
PRIMARY ROLE: This position is responsible for moving precast and rebar products from Production areas to Shipping and to vendors. The Crane Operator is designated a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing.
