Header Sub Arc/Lance Operator
Compensation: Starting at $24/hr based on experience
Schedule: Night shift 5:00 PM 3:30 AM with potential overtime
Employment Type: Temptohire
Location: Catoosa Oklahoma
Weld Test Requirements:
- 1G SAW Plate SubArc and 2G Plate Test
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
Position Overview:
Were seeking a skilled Header Sub Arc/Lance Operator to join a growing team in Catoosa. This role focuses on welding trunnions to headers and positioning them with crane equipment. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail and proficiency in subarc welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate welding equipment to meet specifications
- Align electrodes load and thread electrode wire and maintain flux hoppers
- Monitor welds for quality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Visually inspect and assess welds for accuracy and durability
- Adjust machine setups as necessary to achieve optimal performance
- Preheat workpieces remove slag and spatter and perform repairs using a carbon arc gouger
