Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. This position involves operating advanced highly automated paperconverting equipment ensuring safety and quality standards and maintaining optimal machine performance.
Position Overview:
The Machine Operator will play a key role in production by troubleshooting finetuning and maintaining machinery. The role requires precision teamwork and adherence to safety regulations to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced production machinery including winders log saws wrappers case packers and palletizers according to specifications and blueprints.
- Ensure consistent production of highquality goods that meet quantity and specification targets.
- Measure finished goods to verify compliance with functional quality and cosmetic standards.
- Record production outcomes including logs of errors or discarded materials.
- Inspect and align equipment before use; perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance as needed.
- Optimize machine efficiency through proactive adjustments.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and resolve challenges.
- Interpret engineering designs and documentation to guide machine operation and adjustments.
- Adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations promoting a culture of safety.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong problemsolving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to production equipment operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for recordkeeping and reporting.
- Solid understanding of engineering documentation with the ability to implement directions accurately.
- Commitment to teamwork and excellent communication skills.
