Job Description:
An NG911 (Next Generation 911) Integration Architect is responsible for designing implementing and managing integration solutions for NG911 systems.
- This role requires a blend of technical expertise strategic thinking and experience in emergency communication systems.
- Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality
- requirements and interoperability of the system of systems.
- Ensure stable enterprise system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices.
- Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions provide test cases for SAT and SIT and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible.
- Review test results for accuracy validate against architectural deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality requirements and interoperability of the system of systems.
- Design and architect integration solutions for NG911 systems to ensure interoperability and seamless communication between different components.
- Ensure stable enterprise system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices.
- Lead the implementation of integration solutions including configuring middlewaredeveloping APIs and setting up communication protocols
- Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions provide test cases for SAT and SIT and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible.
- Review test results for accuracy validate against architectural deliverables.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree with no less than 12 years in Enterprise ArchitectureInfrastructure Engineering within PS environment
- Excellent technical architecture skills enabling the creation of future proof public safety solutions
- Experience building and supporting mission critical infrastructure for critical applications running in a highly distributed manner.
- Experience in largescale integration efforts involving multiple technologies virtual infrastructuresenduser agencies and/or contractors
- Experience with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP (RealTime Protocol).
- Experience with Monitoring tools withing NG911 systems
- Min 12 yrs experience in a particular technical and/or business application product platformmethodology or skill set.
- Knowledge of system integration techniques and the ability to design systems that work seamlessly with existing infrastructure
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills
- Subject Matter Expert of Enterprise Integration for multiple complex applications within Public Safety domain
- Indepth knowledge and expertise in various technology stacks platforms and architectures.
- Proficiency in system design principles software architecture and understanding of hardware components.

- Requirements Documentation: Creating clear and comprehensive requirements documents.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
- Clear understanding of the systems development lifecycle challenges and prospective delays and experience resolving such issues.
- Experience overseeing (from a technical perspective) multiple projects
- Experience with multitier system development for large enterprises Ability to design a strategy around a defined application or process
- Integration Engineering and Testing background for Public Safety Answering Center System of Systems
