Job Description

Role: Tableau Architect

Location: Plainsboro NJ ( Hybrid 3 days).

Client: Novo Nordisk.

Overview:
This Tableau Architect is a key member of the Patient and HCP analytics and business intelligence team responsible for designing developing and implementing Tableau solutions to meet organizational reporting and data visualization needs. This role combines technical expertise in Tableau with a strategic understanding of data to create insightful and impactful dashboards and reports. The Tableau Architect will also guide teams in best practices ensuring highquality and scalable solutions. Need to have Pharma Domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Development:
  • Design build and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Tableau solutions.
  • Create data models and establish connections to diverse data sources.
  • Develop interactive visualizations and storytelling dashboards.
  1. Data Management:
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure proper data pipelines and structures for Tableau.
  • Optimize Tableau performance by addressing query efficiency and dashboard responsiveness.
  • Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments including security configurations and upgrades.
  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand analytics needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations on Tableau capabilities and best practices.
  • Conduct user training sessions to empower teams with selfservice analytics capabilities.
  1. Governance and Best Practices:
  • Define and enforce Tableau development standards and governance policies.
  • Establish and maintain guidelines for effective data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Lead efforts to promote Tableau adoption across the organization.
  1. Leadership and Mentoring:
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Tableau within the organization.
  • Mentor junior Tableau developers and analysts.
  • Stay updated on Tableau features and advancements sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience with Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Prep.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven ability to design and implement endtoend Tableau solutions.
  • Experience optimizing Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with integrating Tableau with various data sources from IICS coming from CRM/Veeva Systems and AWS cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tableau certification (e.g. Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of IICS ETL processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.

Work Environment:

  • Working 3 days (TuesdayThursday) from office.
