Job Description for Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Call clinics to verify insurance acceptance for specific cases
- Facilitate warm handoffs between our service and other clinics
- Maintain detailed records of clinic information and insurance acceptance
- Assist in the placement process for children we cannot directly serve
- Communicate effectively with internal team members about placement progress
- Potentially handle additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent phone communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Patient and empathetic demeanor when dealing with sensitive information
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
