Position: Manager Electronics Sourcing
Experience: 1015yrs experience in the EMS Industry
Qualification: BE / MBA (Electronics / Material Management)
Work Location: Mysore / Bangalore
Job Profile:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving costreduction programs and improving win rates with new RFQs. Specifically the sourcing manager is responsible for driving cost optimization managing AVL consolidating the supplier base and improving credit terms.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Communicate with Sales/Frontend team on all RFQs and meet timelines.
Manage and improve purchase price variances.
Ability to drive formalized process improvement initiatives (e.g. lean six sigma quality).
Perpetually monitor and dispose of all excess and obsolete inventory with program management.
Develop and manage cost reduction plans.
Work with company sourcing teams on cost review and price analysis quarterly.
Coordinate Customer RFQs.
Monitor and improve material profitability.
Negotiate with suppliers directly on credit terms & price reduction.
Attend customer and supplier meetings as required.
Work with other functional teams to align customer goals and expectations.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Job Competencies Required:
Must possess excellent data mining and analytical skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
Must be detailoriented and a team player.
Experience in SAP ERP is an added advantage.
Good negotiation skills.
Relationship management.
Internal Interface:
Sales/Bid Management/Engineering.
Finance and leadership team.
External Interface:
Customers.
Suppliers.
