Job Description

Job Title: 310T / 310S Dual Mechanic
Location: Thunderbay ON
Wage: Starting at $40 per hour
Shift Options:

  • 10 AM 8 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
  • Inspect diagnose and repair electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
  • Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs documenting parts usage and tracking repair times.
  • Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Perform other maintenancerelated tasks as required.

Knowledge Skills & Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in automotive truck or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a vocational technical school program.
  • Must hold a valid 310T license.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
