Job Description

Job Title: Supply Planning Specialist

Location: Boca Raton FL 33487.

Duration: 10 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Schedule: MondayFriday 8am4pm EST.

Job Summary:

  • This role is accountable for all aspects of Supply Planning for Health Science business unit. Supply responsibilities include Ensuring effective supply planning for finished goods achieving targeted service levels while optimizing inventory and bad goods management and maintaining close relationships with factory/comanufacturing locations all to ensure supply plans optimize total delivered cost and effective response to market demands.
  • Ensure cost effective management of the supply/production planning and comanufacturing/copacking requirements planning functions.
  • Provide supply plans that optimize supply service and inventory whilst working with productions constraints and total delivered cost impact.
  • Support short term and longterm capacity plans in close conjunction with the factories to identify and resolve potential capacity issues.
  • Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.
  • Balance supply needs across all available sourcing locations (factory comanufacturer).
  • Identify and analyze build stock needs and timing based on production availability and strategic decisions while communicating to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate frequent communication with the cross functional team on product availability and critical items highlighting risks of customer shortages back in stock projections root cause of the issue and preventative actions to avoid future reoccurrence.
  • Present supply outlook (days on hand service levels projected future working capital factory performance) to NHS leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Gather all necessary inputs from other Operational functions that impact the supply outlook.

Requirements And Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or work equivalent.

Experience:

  • 3 years of working within a Supply Chain function.
  • Relevant industry experience with consumerpackaged goods (CPG) and consumer products is a strong plus.
  • APICS certification a plus

Skills:

  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
  • Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP Power Bi and/or Business Intelligence is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency in advanced functionality and modeling; Excel expertise i.e. writing macros.
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to develop and use metrics/graphs to lead rootcause analysis activities.
  • Strong written verbal and listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead take direction and work within a team representing diverse business functions.
