Human Capital Management (HCM) Reporting Analyst (Needs Cataloging Specialist)
Summary:
Reporting Lead is responsible for documenting and analyzing the Human Capital Management (HCM) reporting needs of the organization during an Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. They collaborate with stakeholders across HR and other departments to ensure a smooth transition to the new reporting system.
Qualifications:
A strong understanding of HR reporting needs and best practices including experience with common HCM reports like headcount analysis workforce demographics compensation data and leave balances. Needs familiarity with Oracle HCM reporting capabilities and functionalities. Ability to understand the business needs of different departments and how HR reports are used to inform strategic workforce decisions. The ability to collaborate effectively with the implementation team. Strong analytical skills to assess reporting needs identify gaps and propose solutions.
Responsible for managing the reporting needs catalog prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software used in HR. Understanding of data mapping and integration concepts. Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is a benefit.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to understand their specific reporting needs and how HR data will be used. Analyze existing reports and identify gaps that need to be addressed by the new system. Map existing reports to Oracle HCM functionalities and identify any customization needs. Develop a reporting needs catalog that clearly outlines the required reports their purpose frequency and audience.
Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure that the new system can meet the organizations HR reporting requirements. Test and validate the new reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Train endusers in how to access and use the new HR reports. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in leading HR activities in a large organization with union and nonunion populations people oriented and results driven demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Other Skills:
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills indepth knowledge of HR best practices proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel and PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook PeopleSoft or Oracle HCM.
