Job Posting: Investment Counselor
We are hiring for a reputed financial services company seeking a highly skilled Investment Counselor to join their dynamic team based in Delhi. This role is critical for conducting detailed portfolio reviews acquiring new clients and supporting business planning efforts. If you are experienced in wealth management and passionate about client engagement this position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct portfolio reviews for large relationships in collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs). Present portfolio details to clients explaining their investments and offering insights.
Assist in acquiring new clients by preparing Investment Proposals and presenting them to prospects ensuring all requirements are addressed.
Contribute to business planning efforts working with RMs on monthly and quarterly activities.
Serve as a bridge between the Product & Research teams facilitating product and research communications across the organization.
Key Challenges:
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and improve business performance.
Engage and educate the sales team on offering comprehensive solutions to wealth customers beyond investment products such as Mutual Funds PMS and AIF.
Influence sales teams without direct reporting lines by leveraging domain expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Result Areas:
Achieve targeted profitability and fee income by identifying crossselling opportunities and deepening client engagement.
Support skill enhancement initiatives for the team by coordinating with the HR department on product and customer engagement training.
Ensure compliance and adherence to policies in the sale of Mutual Funds PMS and AIF ensuring smooth transaction processing.
Present regular performance dashboards to regional and zonal heads tracking business progress.
Internal & External Relationships:
Collaborate with the Head of Product & Research Zonal Head and Relationship Managers on business development initiatives product training and client engagement.
Engage with clients and channel partners to identify market opportunities and provide necessary training to RMs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong background in wealth management and investment products.
Proven ability to manage and influence crossfunctional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and business planning capabilities.
