Our client a leading player in the renewable energy sector is seeking a talented and committed Asset Manager to oversee the performance of their operational assets across Europe. This role will combine technical and commercial expertise to optimise asset reliability drive performance and uphold health and safety standards across wind solar and energy storage systems (BESS).
THE ROLE:
- Oversee the commercial and technical management of operational assets across various renewable technologies ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws.
- Act as the main operational point of contact for stakeholders managing relationships with external asset management service providers.
- Manage commercial contracts including PPAs O&M and lease agreements monitoring contractor performance to maximize value.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to meet evolving business challenges.
- Support development and construction projects with operational insights ensuring longterm profitability.
- Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to resolve technical issues and drive asset performance.
- Lead contract negotiations and foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage annual OPEX budgets reporting on key technical commercial and HSE metrics.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry with at least 7 years in asset management.
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline; an advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and operations including wind solar and energy storage systems.
- Proven experience in contract negotiations risk management and financial oversight.
- Excellent project management and business acumen.
- Fluency in English with additional European languages being an advantage.
Benefits
