What you will be doing:
- Review the product architectural design requirements specifications and test specifications.
- Conduct a technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements.
- Engage in design coding unit testing and code review as needed (may require 2530%).
- Design configure debug and deploy software within the scheduled timeframe.
- Provide daytoday technical guidance to other members of the project team.
- Highlight review and mitigate technical risks.
- Resolve technical issues in conjunction with team members.
- Determine and/or approve estimates for development tasks.
- Provide the project team with support and guidance on projectspecific processes procedures tools and techniques.
- Serve as the technical point of contact with Testing and Documentation responsible for delivering required technical information.
- Ensure that designs code and unit tests are consistent robust and scalable.
- Delegate tasks to organize mentor and motivate a team of resources.
- Contribute to the continued improvement of the organization’s development procedures by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instill the principles of this culture in a team of resources.
- Follow and ensure team adherence to organizational policies and procedures framework.
- Identify technology training requirements.
- Work with the Director in the development and administration of the departmental budget.
- Serve as a steward of process improvement initiatives.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Be responsible for interviewing potential candidates hiring training overseeing daily activities and conducting performance appraisals of employees.
Experience you will need:
- 8 years of experience with programming (Java .NET C Python VB Angular).
- 5 years of experience with Laboratory Information Systems Software (Sunquest Labs Epic Beaker Cerner Millennium McKesson Lab SoftLab Orchard Harvest LIS).
- 5 years of experience with people leadership.
