Reports to: Sales Manager.
Position Overview:
The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for driving sales and enhancing
brand visibility in retail outlets. This role involves effective product presentation stock
management and building strong relationships with retailers to maximize product availability
and customer engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and tidy display of products to attract customers and create a positive shopping experience
Ensure optimal product placement to enhance visibility and drive sales.
Ensure proper placement of promotional materials in line with the brand guidelines.
Participate in product training sessions Utilize online platforms and websites to stay updated on product specifications and details to close sales
effectively and this will also assist customers in making correct purchase decisions.
Meet and exceed sales targets as defined by management.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Carrefour operation staff.
Promptly attend to any concerns or feedback from retailers and escalate to
the reporting manager if required.
Gather and report insights on market trends competitor activities and customer
preferences.
Provide feedback to management on product performance and potential
improvements.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities stock levels and merchandising efforts.
Submit regular reports on sales performance.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Resultsoriented.
23 years of experience in sales merchandising or retail is preferred.
High level of integrity and responsibility.
Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma or equivalent; a degree in business marketing or a related field is a plus.
