We are looking for a qualified Sales Manager to join our sales team and help us achieve our goals. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. The role of this professional is to represent the Company by consolidating relationships between customers and the company. This position requires a versatile worker who does not only manage customers. It can also participate in negotiations with the companys partners and service providers. In this context its mission is to be the company rep in Uganda.
Responsibilities
- Developing sales strategies to draw in potential customers or to solicit new potential customers to increase market share.
- Initiating contact with potential customers through coldcalling or responding to inquiries generated from marketing initiatives and acquiring new businesses.
- Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
- Creating sales presentations and offers in line with the client s needs and company standards.
- Negotiating terms of sale and concluding commercial contracts.
- Comprehensive business knowledge to create realistic sales projections.
- Updating records of customer communications and contact information.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
- Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
- Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel connecting them to a salesperson and arranging inperson meetings emails or phone calls.
- Ensuring adherence to laws regulations and policies.
- Stay uptodate with new products and features and trends in the ICT industry to better serve clients.
- Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business.
Requirements
Degree in Sales and Marketing Sales or relevant field is a plus.
Proven work experience as a Sales manager or Sales support agent or sales administrator specifically in the ICT industry.
Clear understanding of the local market.
Particularly good knowledge of the IT industry including the latest technologies.
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent organizational and multitasking ss.
A team player with a high level of dedication.
