Key Responsibilities:
- SharePoint Online Administration:
- Perform administration tasks including site collection management user permissions and overall content management.
- Ensure the smooth operation and availability of SharePoint Online environments.
- Configuration and Development:
- Develop configure and customize SharePoint sites libraries lists and content types according to organizational needs.
- Apply updates and manage feature enhancements released by Microsoft to ensure SharePoint functionality remains current and optimized.
- User Support:
- Provide remote support to SharePoint users troubleshooting issues related to access functionality and performance.
- Assist users with organizing and structuring SharePoint content including the creation and management of document libraries and lists.
- User Access and Permissions Management:
- Configure and manage user access levels and permissions across various SharePoint resources.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies regarding data access and security.
- Content Management and Compliance:
- Manage document retention and archiving procedures to maintain data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor and track SharePoint content to ensure that it is appropriately organized and accessible.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor the performance of SharePoint Online sites implementing measures to improve performance when needed.
- Provide regular reports on site usage performance and any issues encountered along with recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5 years Proven experience as a SharePoint Online Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online including site collections permissions content management and customizations.
- Experience in configuring libraries lists content types and document management.
- Familiarity with SharePoint security compliance features and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SharePointrelated issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and guide endusers remotely.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint Office 365 or related fields are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Knowledge of SharePoint integrations with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g. Teams OneDrive).
- Understanding of SharePoint workflows and automation using Power Automate.
